Istanbul Kultur University
In 1997, Istanbul Kultur University, through its extensive agreements with universities in the United States of America, Europe, Canada, Australia, Latin America, Asia, and Germany, was able to enjoy the diverse experiences of those universities in all educational, cultural, and scientific fields. This made it one of its most important strengths besides other advantages. It currently has more than 315 agreements with 160 partner universities in 41 countries around the world.
Its location is in a central area of Istanbul in the European section and also very close to public transportation. Istanbul Kultur University is an open university in the academic and scientific field and the student can study for a full year or a semester at one of the universities that have agreements with it or that are within the Erasmus group.
What makes the university more important is the fact that it receives international recognition, such as some of its engineering branches have the MÜDEK recognition by the Washington Accord Foundation.
The university campus includes all the student’s needs and contains a library containing thousands of paper and electronic books, besides a beautiful and comfortable housing for students.

Accreditations
Istanbul Kültür University started the Bologna Process in the year 2010-2011, when it was first put into practice in the country. All the programs of the university were adapted to this and structured according to the European Credit Transfer System. Students now can receive the Diploma Supplement when they graduate. The curriculum is available in both Turkish and English language.

The faculties provide in total of 11 English undergraduate programs and 23 Turkish undergraduate programs overall of 31 departments.
1- Faculty of Education: This faculty has a total of 4 departments (Basic Education, Educational Sciences, Foreign Languages Education, Special Education)
2- Faculty of Arts & Science: The faculty consists of overall 6 departments (English language & Literature, Mathematics & Computer Science, Molecular Biology & Genetics, Physics, Psychology, Turkish Language & Literature)
3- Faculty of Law: The purpose of this faculty of Law has access is to not only teach legislation but also educate future young lawyers to measure legal issues on the basis of logic and conscience. The faculty also has access to Criminal Law & Research Center.
4- Faculty of Economics & Administrative Sciences: This faculty is divided further into 5 departments: Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Economics, International Relations, and International Trade & Finance.
5- Faculty of Architecture: The Department of Architecture and Interior Architecture & Environmental Design are included in this faculty.
6- Faculty of Engineering: 4 departments make up the faculty of Engineering and those are: Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Industrial Engineering.
7- Faculty of Health Sciences: Istanbul Kultur University’s Health Sciences faculty has a total of 3 departments (Nutrition & Dietetics, Nursing, and Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation)
8- Faculty of Arts & Design: This faculty has a total of 6 departments including Cartoon & Animation, Communication Arts, Communication & Design, Arts & Cultural Management, Radio Television & Cinema, and New Media & Communication.
