Biruni University

Biruni University is named after the famous Turkish man of science. He was declared a “universal genius” by UNESCO in the year 1974. The university aims to find and train the country’s next generation of “Birunis”.

“Future of Science” is the slogan of Biruni University as they strive to offer the best quality and quality of education to its students, keeping pace with the latest developments in science in various medical fields, and seeking to be the best university specializing in medical sciences in Turkey.

Mission

Its mission is to provide a university education by being aware of the responsibility of humanity. They aim to increase their mark in healthcare areas. Thus, it has made it its vision to be a leading university and try to reach big milestones in research, education, and services.

It is a modern university founded in 2014 that provides its students with all the specialized and modern supplies and laboratories. Besides, its campus is located in the city center and has two public hospitals open to students. Therefore, the university can support the student’s careers professionally and scientifically through their scientific team. Along with the option of studying abroad with the Erasmus program, which provides students with European certificates.

Moreover, the university wants to develop well-qualified researchers and academicians who are urged to participate in research projects. The students are also made to finish a project before they graduate in order to give them good training and opportunities.

All in all, the departments of biomedical engineering, microbiology, genetics, and genetics are highly recommended.  Likewise, all of these departments are available in English.
