With the slogan “At the heart of Istanbul”, Bahçeşehir University aims to be one of the top 500 universities in the world by 2023. Founded in 1998, the university has a United Nations Prize in higher education. Overall, Bahçeşehir university has branches in Washington, Silicon Valley, USA, Berlin, Germany, Toronto, Canada, Georgia, Azerbaijan, China, Italy, and Northern Cyprus

The first thing you ever notice whenever you enter Bahçeşehir University is many international students. Certainly, you can see students from the United States to South Korea, from France to China, and from many other countries. Furthermore, the central location and the university’s international presence are what attract most foreign students.

Moreover, the university also has a program of exchange of professors and students. This is with many universities in the world, such as New York University, Harvard, Stanford, Mokogawa, Berlin Technology, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Likewise, Bahçeşehir University is a pioneer in Turkey by implementing the COOP project based on cooperation between the university and the labor market.

Additionally, the project allows the student to live a real experience in the business world while still studying at the university. To achieve this, the University has held cooperation agreements with 800 factories in Turkey and abroad. This agreement provides training and work experience for the university’s students. Also, the university has 8 faculties, 4 graduate institutes, and 4 schools.

This includes Foreign Languages School, Vocational School, Health School and School of Applied Sciences, and a Scientific Research Center
