Ankara Medipol University

Founded on 5 May 2018 by the Foundation of Turkey Education, Health, Science and Research, Ankara Medipol University has ever since prioritized the training of individuals to equip them for the real world. The university is always aiming to achieve greatness in education, research, and public service for humanity. Furthermore, by fostering creative and critical thinking with the framework of universal values, the university produces capable individuals.

Study Programs

Ankara Medipol University has a total of 10 faculties (Dentistry, Pharmacy, Fine Arts, Law, Administrative & Social Sciences, Communication, Health Sciences, Engineering & Natural Sciences, Political Sciences, and Medicine). Additionally, it has 4 vocational schools and 2 institutes (Social Sciences and Health)

Campus

Located in the heart of Ankara, the capital of Turkey. It is situated close to the main transportation points such as bus stations, train stations, and minibuses. This helps the students and any guests to easily reach the university. It is also within walking distance of artistic, cultural, and sports centers in Ankara.

Campus Facilities 

The campus has unlimited facilities along with libraries fully equipped with all the resources the students need in order for their studies. It also provides access to national and international publications. The catering firm provides food services on campus and 1 meal is served in the afternoon. The students can also use the cafeterias as well. The laboratories at Ankara Medipol University are in full operation and host Information Technologies courses as well.

There are a total of 10 faculties in the university:

1- Faculty of Dentistry: In the 5-year dentistry education program, students take basic medical sciences courses and then are encouraged to do a clinical internship in the 2nd semester. Furthermore, the faculty serves to provide quality and effective education to future dentists.

2- Faculty of Pharmacy: The study program brings up qualified pharmacists with full knowledge of work ethics, and lifelong learning. Also, who will contribute to national development while prioritizing public health. 

3- Faculty of Fine Arts, Design, and Architecture:  The aim of this faculty is to bring up designers and artists who utilize science and technology.

4- Faculty of Law: The faculty is internationally well-known for its competency and academic prestige. Additionally, a specialized curriculum is to educate talented and knowledgeable jurists and develop an understanding of the law. 

5- Faculty of Administrative and Social Sciences: This faculty consists of the departments of Psychology, International Trade & Finance, and Management Information Systems. All in all, the programs are in Turkish and English. 

6- Faculty of Communication: A dynamic educational model of international standards that prepares students for being qualified and equipped in the field of communication. 

7- Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences: This faculty includes the department of Computer Engineering. The program strives to give help future engineers graduate and have successful careers. 

8- Faculty of Health Sciences: The faculty combines an excellent curriculum, professional experts, and facilities given by the university to provide the best education to the students. 

9- Faculty of Political Sciences: The aim of this faculty is to contribute to the world in the field of sciences along with academic and scientific research within its programs. 

10- Faculty of Medicine: Comprised of national and international academicians, the unique education model of the university helps to train future doctors and scientists of the future. 

Institutes at Ankara Medipol University

There are 2 institutes at the university and those are:

1- Institute of Health Services: Ankara Medipol University’s main goal is to provide post graduate students with technological, scientific, and intellectual education. Moreover, Nutrition & Dietetics is the department offered in his institute. 

2- Institute of Social Sciences: The institute’s goal is to contribute to science and teach the necessary skills. Along with techniques for independent research and skills. Moreover, the department of Clinical Psychology is a part of this institute. 

Vocational Schools at Ankara Medipol University

Altogether, there are 4 vocational schools in the university:

1- Vocational School of Justice: It provides education for semi-skilled staff needed in various courts, the Ministry of Justice, enforcement offices, and in the Law and Justice sectors. 

2- Vocational School of Health Services: This school provides education in 14 different programs including Mouth and Dental Health, Anesthesia, Dialysis, Physiotherapy, Audiometry, Radiotherapy, etc. 

3- Vocational School: Computer Programming, Interior Design, Construction Technology, and Marketing and Advertising is provided in this vocational school. 

4- School of Foreign languages: The vision of this school is to bring the quality of much-needed foreign language teaching and education.
